Evening Menu
All of our meals are cooked fresh to order. We pride ourselves in serving the best quality meals made from the finest local ingredients.
We do not compromise on quality, therefore at busy times we ask you to be patient.
Starters
Soup of the Day £4.50
Our soup is homemade using seasonable vegetables and served with chef’s warm homemade bread.
Cornish Baked Mushrooms £4.50
With apricot and hazelnut stuffing served on a bed of leaves and chopped salad.
Local Rabbit £5.95
Pan fried in garlic butter and served over a fresh salad.
Tiger Prawns £5.95
Pan fried in garlic and lemon butter and served with a crispy salad.
Cornish Crab Cake £6.50
Chef’s very own recipe served on a bed of salad with a choice of
sweet chili dip or the chef’s hot chilli dip.
Butcher’s Bistro Menu
All of the Butcher’s Bistro meats are supplied to us by our son who runs our family butchers. The meat is sourced from local farms, where we prefer moorland cattle for their taste and flavour. All of our steaks are matured for a minimum of 21 days hung on the bone.

All of the above steaks are served with Cornish hand cut chips, local oven baked tomato and mushroom and the chef’s homemade red wine onion jam and accompanied by a freshly made salad.

Homemade sausages from our own butchers, served with mash potato and onion gravy.

Served on a Cornish champ, seasonal local fresh vegetables, and served with a mint and red wine jus.
Butcher’s Bistro Menu
All of our fish are supplied to us by a local fish monger on a daily basis, even on occasions our chef will catch rainbow trout, pollock and lots more mouth watering fish.
